AEV starts with a stock Ram from the factory, but ends up with a best worthy of a standing ovation.
The AEV Ram sports 40 inch tires, but without the compromises that usually come with lifted trucks. Typically, a truck will need to be lifted six to eight or even ten inches in order to accommodate tires that are just 35 inches. This can cause the ride quality, handling and overall appearance to diminish. Not so on the AEV Ram.
AEV's engineers made the wheel wells larger to accommodate larger tires, allowing them to ensure a quality ride and suspension control. The wheels are also beefed up, with a load rating of 3,650 pounds each.
Other added features on the AEV Ram include a 3/16 inch
thick front bumper system that will protect the front of the vehicle better
than anything else on the road today. This also allows for the bumper to
accommodate the 16,500 pound capacity winch.
