Scenic 7 Byway
Called one of the most scenic drives in America, State Hwy 7 is Arkansas's longest state highway and travels north-south all the way across the state. Some of the cities this route passes through include El Dorado, Arkadelphia, Hot Springs, Russellville, Jasper and Harrison. Along the way, you'll see beautiful DeGray Lake in Arkadelphia, historic downtown Hot Springs and Bath House Row, the Grand Canyon of the Ozarks and historic downtown Jasper and the Harrison square.
Talimena National Scenic Byway
This route starts in Mena and travels through the Ouachita National Forest into Oklahoma. You'll drive over Arkansas's second highest mountain, Rich Mountain at 2,681 feet, and through Queen Wilhelmina State Park.
Crowley’s Ridge Parkway National Scenic Byway
In northeastern Arkansas, you can travel through the St. Francis National Forest and along the Mississippi River for some spectacular fall views. Along the way, you'll pass through Helena-West Helena, Forrest City, Jonesboro, Paragould and Piggott.
Boston Mountains Scenic Loop
This loop follows a historic stagecoach route and winds and climbs past sleepy mountain towns, antique stores and roadside farms. The two roadways in this scenic loop, I-49 and U.S. 71, run from Alma to Fayetteville.
Pig Trail Scenic Byway
A short drive, this byway packs more scenery into its 19-mile stretch of Ark. 23 than you'll know to look at. This route travels close to Ozark, Fayetteville and Eureka Springs, offering scores of things to do and see.
