Are you a 2004 through 2010 Jeep owner? Chrysler recently
announced that they are recalling
about 468,700 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Commanders. The recall is caused
from an electrical fault in the transfer case that can allow the affected SUVs
to shift into neutral all on their own.
If the vehicle shifts into neutral, it may roll away increasing the risk of crash or injury.
Chrysler said they will notify owners and dealers will update the driver controller with new software, free of charge. The recall will start around June 2013.
